Create
Start a new lesson the way that suits you
An empty lesson now asks how you'd like to begin: Create with AI, Upload a file or Write it yourself. Create with AI can teach from your own notes, files or web research, and shows what you'll get and what it costs before you click.
What’s changed
Before, an empty lesson offered two choices: let AI write it, or upload a video. Now there's a third, Write it yourself, and Create with AI can work from material you give it, not just a short brief.
Who gets itEvery school
How it works
- Open an empty lesson and pick Create with AI, Upload a file or Write it yourself.
- For Create with AI, say what the lesson should help someone do.
- Add your own material with Add a file Knola teaches from or Paste text.
- No material? Use Research the topic and Knola teaches from what it finds.
- Click Create the lesson and slides, or Just the written lesson for text only.
Good to know
- A written lesson uses 1 credit. The lesson and slides together use 2. Research uses 1.
- If your course was planned with AI, the box already holds that lesson's outline. Change it or start again.
- Your files and pasted notes are only for Knola to write from. Students never see them.
- Upload a file takes a video, a PDF or a Word document.
