Solo $97 or Studio $197, paid once. What each includes, the AI credits that come with it, the 7.5% fee and how to pay 0%, and what Knola Pro adds.

Knola's model is deliberately simple: a one-time licence unlocks your school for life, an optional subscription removes every limit, and the platform fee only ever applies to payments Knola runs for you. Here is the whole picture.

The lifetime licences: Solo and Studio

Both are one-time purchases: pay once, keep your school for life. The difference is capacity:

Solo: $97. 1 course you can sell, 1 funnel, 10 GB storage, up to 1,000 students, and 200 AI credits. For your first course.
Studio: $197. 5 courses, 5 funnels, 50 GB storage, up to 5,000 students and 1,000 AI credits, plus creating for clients and white-glove onboarding. For ambitious creators.

Every licence unlocks the same toolkit: AI lessons, slides and narrated videos, the sales-page and funnel builders, the Studio, your custom subdomain, video uploads, publishing, payments and students.

The AI credits that come with a licence are one-time: they do not refill. You can see your balance at the foot of the sidebar and top up any time from Plan & billing in Settings.

The 7.5% fee, and the two ways to pay 0%

On a lifetime licence, Knola takes a 7.5% platform fee on sales it automates for you: the built-in checkout that takes payment and enrols the buyer through your connected Stripe account. The fee funds running that service; it is not a fee on your revenue in general.

Two routes to 0%:

Use your own payment processor: point your course at any checkout link (PayPal, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, a Stripe payment link) and Knola takes nothing.
Add Knola Pro: the fee on Knola-automated payments drops to 0%.

Knola Pro: the everything-unlimited subscription

Knola Pro is a subscription you can add on top of any lifetime licence: $37/month or $370/year (two months free). It removes the platform fee and lifts the limits that matter:

At a 7.5% fee, Pro covers its own cost once you're doing about $500 a month in sales through Knola's checkout. Beyond that it's keeping money you'd otherwise pay in fees.

Is a Knola licence really one-time, or is there a subscription hiding in it?

Really one-time. Solo ($97) and Studio ($197) are single payments that keep your school running for life. Knola Pro is the only subscription, it is optional, and it exists to remove limits and the platform fee, not to keep the lights on.

Does Knola take a cut of my course sales?

7.5% on payments Knola automates for you on a lifetime licence, and 0% when you sell through your own payment processor, or when you're on Knola Pro. Stripe's own processing fees always apply to Stripe payments, as they would anywhere.

Do AI credits run out?

The AI credits that come with Solo (200) and Studio (1,000) are one-time. Knola Pro adds 200 every month. When you run low, a credit pack tops you up straight away, and pack credits never expire.

Can I upgrade from Solo to Studio later?

Yes. Licences are upgradeable from your billing settings, and everything in your school stays exactly where it is when you do.
